Split Rock Golden Hour
It was a cloudy Autumn day when I set off for the North Shore off Lake Superior. I was hoping to capture the late afternoon glow on the brilliant oranges and reds that painted the North, and I was a little dismayed to see gray skies above.
After taking in the landscapes of the parks that dot the highway, I noticed that the skies had given way. I jumped in my car and hurried back to Split Rock to see if I still had light left. I was so lucky to have made it in time to see the sun to drop behind the rocks behind me, showering Split Rock Lighthouse in the most beautiful, glowing light. I am so glad to have made it for the show!
