SUPER BLOOD MOON

My earliest days were filled with stories of the solar system, space travel, and dreaming of living amongst the stars.

Although the Milky Way is a vast sea, the Moon was always my beacon, shining down upon me and recharging my soul—filling me with wonder.

From the perfect observatory that was my bedroom window, I would lie awake, gazing fondly on my old friend, making promises and wishes, both.

On this special night, September 27th, 2015, I was able to capture the Super Blood Moon—the combination of the Super Moon, where the moon is closest to earth, and the Blood Moon, a full Lunar Eclipse. This magical occurrence takes place every 18 years, returning in 2033.

Print is 29.5” by 6.5” and printed on luster paper with an optical brightener and shipped rolled.

SUPER BLOOD WOLF MOON RISING

I was lucky enough to have a clear night for the Super Blood Wolf Moon on January 21, 2019 over Woodbury, Minnesota. I felt compelled to arrange my sequence vertically to create a unique display that will certainly catch the eye.

Prints are printed on Epson Exhibition Fiber at 8.5” wide by 26” high, and are shipped rolled.
