Leaves on Fire
As summer turns to fall in Minnesota, there is a short window of explosive color that washes over the hills and forests. Leaves take on the oranges and reds that fire claims as it’s own. But like the flare of a stoked fire, that color fades as the temperatures yield to the oncoming winter, with only their glowing ember memory left behind to keep us warm.
