Grazing Llama

from $120.00

We stopped at Puyupatamarca, which was the first terraced mountainside that we came across on this leg of the Inca Trail.  These views were pretty steep and the valley views were outstanding.  The sun was finally over the ridges, and beating down on us.  I never realized how intense the sun really was at that altitude until that moment.

This area had small guard huts along the path to overlook the valley and for resting during the farming on the terraces. Llamas were busily crunching away on every sweet blade of grass that they could reach.  It was a beautiful day!

Archival print, matted in white:
7” x 10” print matted to 11” x 14”
12” x 16” print matted to 16”x 20”.
The piece is titled and signed on the matting.
